Since the chances that I'll be promenading down the block and suddenly trip over someone's castaway PlayStation 3 are very slim, I'm sad to say that my ability to own the upcoming exclusive title Little Big Planet rests on the same probability. This is a grievously missed opportunity for sweet looking game play and horrendously cute overload, as is demonstrated by the following videos:
Note: If anyone needs a loving home for their respective next-gen Sony game console, I'm waiting here with open arms!
When googling 'iPhone Tiffany Chow' to see if any of the various interviews or photos that were taken showed up, I discovered that I was misquoted by Advertising Age. I told the guy who interviewed me that the line was much less worse than the Wii or PS3 lines. Now it has my name and Destructoid up there and it's incorrect. I sent the writer a corrective e-mail...hopefully he'll make the change.

While on the topic, I cannot wait for the Wii. I got an opportunity to play it a few days ago and it was definitely the highlight of my week. The Wii is beautiful,simple, clean, and compact, radiating a very ibook-esque aura. You can feel from the moment you pick up the two controllers that you're going to have fun with it. The controls take a bit to adjust to at first, but it was sort of a wonderful encounter to play with something familiar and foreign at the same time. I got a chance to develop a Mii character, play Wii Baseball, and a racing game. I'm not sure when I'm getting it (the one and only Chico revealed that he's getting it for me as a birthday present!), but it happens you can expect I'll have a glazed over game look for at least a solid two weeks or so.
And then there is the PS3. Not looking forward to that at all. I know that there are lines of anxious people camping outside of the Best Buys and Targets, but I'll bet you the majority of them are picking the PS3 up just to auction it off on EBay for a grand or more. If you read my favorite gaming blog Kotaku, its been keeping up with the PS3's launch process a great deal. There are so many sketchy things going on with the PS3 that I can't help but be skeptical about its legitimacy as a gaming platform. Not to mention, it's a freakin' boat of a console. The size alone should be an embarrassment to Sony.
Moral of the Story: Woo for Wii and Boo for PS3
