Maia Hirasawa, you beautiful half Swedish, half Japanese lady. You are my new Hapa crush. Perhaps it's the fact that we are of similar origins, or the fact that your curly short cut is similar to mine. Maybe it's because you're the ethnic ambiguous manifestation of one of my favorite female songstresses, Regina Spektor. But maybe it's because you're just so damned cute. Either way, look out for this one ... she's one to keep an eye out for!

The following video is edited terribly with one too many long shots of Wale chatterboxing about his apparent success of a rapped-over remix of D.A.N.C.E.  Big whoop.  I choose (and highly recommend) to focus more intently on the shots of Xavier de Rosnay glamorously smoking his cigarette on video. I am thus satisfied.
Let it be noted that my French, hipster-boy fangirlism has now reached a new level. Xavier, you may be too good to speak in front of the cameras, but I promise I won't say a word about your unkempt black leather jacket that must swell with the rancid sweat and adoration of those throes of hipsters that carry the † in honor of you.  Admittedly, this whole crush may be a bit sacrilegious, but isn't that what your whole ethnically ambiguous manga-chic ambiance is all about?  Sucking in all those vulnerable psuedo-hipster-in-denial chicks to buy your album and listen to all your mixes?
