A mega-ultra-super-happy-funtime thanks goes out to Luke for pointing this out to me. I believe I've covered my complete and utter adoration of Jamie Hewlett and his respective creative offspring, so it's no surprise that my insides feel dipped in sugar and rolled in sunshine upon the discovery of the upcoming pilot Phoo Action:

Based on Hewlett's 1990's strip Get the Freebies, Phoo features two sordid action heroes (Terry Phoo a buddhist kung-fu policeman and his sidekick Whitey Action) in their attempt to stop the evil Freebies from destroying future London. In true Hewlett spirit, the live-action interpretation of the strip looks to be nutty, absurd, and colorful, with definite homages to the days of the original Batman series. Oh, did I also mention it's directed by Doctor Who director Euros Lyn? Yeah, I know. Even more awesome than you could possibly expect.

Lets just say that with my hair only a current shade away from becoming Whitey Action for Halloween (Hewlett's Tank Girl was a perfect guise in 2005), there is apt costume competition against my previous ideas between Stella from Interstella 5555 or a Yip Yip Alien from Sesame Street.

Here is another 'morning scene' of my third character.  There are a few frames missing (I havn't drawn them yet) but I wanted to post it all anyway.  I kind of enjoy seeing it all stacked together on Vox.  Looks like a real comic book page!  Horray!
