Here's some pics of my cameras getting to know each other, on a macro level.
Did you dress up today? See any good costumes?
Just 30 minutes ago we had a load of little kids run around from town house to town house. Me and my housemates sat outside and gave them candy. My favorites were a little kid dressed up like a member of the Blue Man Group (blue face, blue swimcap, and drum on his belly) and a Professor dressed up like Clint Eastwood. Because my digi cam is in the shop (booooo.) I was using an old fashioned box camera. I snapped a pic of this little kid in a bug suit, who came running towards me after the flash went off and was searching around to see the digital thumbnail of the picture I took. I couldn't believe it, at that point, I must have seemed so out of touch with technology to that kid. Weird Science.
I've been talking heads off about my Tobias costume, which is being saved for the big Halloween Party on Saturday. Tonight, however, I have my one class from 6:30-9:30, in which I will be dressing up as a bear. Not very creative or anything, but something, I suppose.
Yesterday I was at a party and I was using the same digital camera
that I brought to one ceremonial shirt destroying last friday. It
was the first time that I had used it since I took photos of the event,
including a movie of the shirt being incinerated. I was using the
camera at the party and everything was fine, but then suddenly it had
dissapeared in the couch that I was putting it down on, and when I
tried to use it again, the lens zoom had been jolted and now the camera
doesn't work.
First point: Does this mean that the evil of the shirt has continued
to live, and plague the destruction of everything in its path?
Should I post to photos of the event online and show the movie or
should I destroy them immediatly on my camera?
Second point: Does anyone know where they will fix digital
cameras in the Bay Area? Its a Canon Powershot SD450 Digital
Elph, a wonderful camera, and I'd much appreciate anyone who could send
me to the right direction. I'd rather not pay a billion dollars
to fix it, but if there isn't any other way, I guess I'll just have to.
